Devastating Election Results
It is now Novemeber 5th I know not to expect any change because the hope I once had was gone. Like many college students I refuse to attend school today as a silent protest of the wrong that was done. Even the weather is gloomy. Rain and thunderstorms all day across the country I guess even the weather can predict that our nation will be a disaster story. My whole community look as if they have given up completely on everything. We even have some people going around trying to commit acts of violence against public officials. I call my godsister in Indiana to see if the reaction is the same and her reply is compltely negative. For her there whole state is divided as of now. I try not to let this bring me down because I do not want to spend my whole day off from school dwelling on something I can not change. I then decide to turn on the news and once again the stock market is in complete chaos, people are continuing to lose their jobs and homes, and last but not least since hearing the outcome of the election many people have been getting hurt. To think I have four more years of the same thing and it only can get worse. Then they do a special edition on the troops that are fighting over seas and they like the people who supported Obama look so lost and many of them crying. It must be really hard for them to try keep their composure as of now. At this point I can only imagine what the next four years will be. Nothing has changed everything remained the same.
I go on the internet and read some blogs and I am completely apalled by the things that are being said. People are having verbal wars is this what America has really come to. The anger and rage embedded in the citizens are way to much to bear. I am even more disgusted as I listen to the transition speech given by President Bush. It is almost like he is taunting most of America. This election had to be fixed but what can I do but vent and move on with life. Sarah Palin has a glow like never before but the funny thing is she still do not have her facts and issues together. The White House is doomed on January 20th the country will be ran by two people who are so confused and have no relation to the people. Our same leaders from what I gathered throughout the year are basically following all of the Bush policies with hardly any fixers. Did they not see that it didnt help for the last 8 years but hey I am not in charge. The day after the election outcome and its already going downhill in the communites, cities, states, economically, etc. Either way I support my country and what it is supposed to stand for. This is truly going to be a slow day and a long 4 years. Maybe one day America will be ready for change. Just maybe. Obama '12.

Barack Obama Is the New President of the U.S.
Usually the new person in the white house brings something new with him. But it still doesn't look like Mr. Obama is trying to do something good for America or, at least, to bring any changes to our life. Maybe his main goal was just to win the election?( Like many actors desire to get an "Oscar") In this case we should be frustrated, because our new president has got his "toy" (America) already, and doesn't know what to do with this now...
Anyway, my life didn't change after elections. I still go to college and enjoj my life. I hope Barack Obama will find the way to govern the country, and his lack of experience won't stop him from the right decision for our country. Good luck, Barack Obama!

November fifth was an abnormal day since I have heard that McCain won the presidential election. Two days later, things started to shift and change than it used to be. I have had a feeling that something is inevitably would happen. And so it does.First thing that hit me a week after that day was when I went to the gas station to full of my car. When I went to the gas station I have found that the price of gas has skyrocketed. I felt so stunned from the price of gas on that day. The price of the gas has jumped to be almost the double of the price that I used to buy it before the Election Day. I thought afterward, how I am going to spend on my car. It’s seems like I am not going to be affordable to ride on my car.
second thing was that my medical insurance, I realize by the chance one day later, when I went to visit my doctor as I used to do each month that my medical insurance is not sufficient enough to pay for my medical insurance. And now I should pay some money if I am willing to keep my medical card.
Third of all was something that affected me at work. Actually it’s not only effect me, but it effect on almost the whole society. It was The Price Increase of Wheat. This considered one of the most basic needs in our life. It’s hard to believe society living without wheat. Essentially, my friend and I owned a vender business that sells daunts Danish and some other breakfast's stuff. Since the increase of wheat price, therefore, the price of Stuffs made up from Wheat has gone up. Then by, my friend and I decided to raise up the prices of stuff in our business and that could be a negative cause to loss some of my friend and I business. And so it does.
Fourth and finally, was my college expense. As we all know that the government support qualified student to pay for their college expenses in terms of financial aids, tab tiution and loans. In my case, the semester before the Election Day (November 5th) I was entitle to both financial Aids and tab tuition. But when the time got close to the spring, I went to register for my class. And while I was there for the registration for my spring class, they gave me my bill and the bill does not show any tab tuition and not even the same amount of financial Aid. So, I went so insane and I didn’t know what worse could be happen to me after that. And I started thinking should I give up about college and concentrate in my broken down business or should I go on with school while practicing my business and get the big suffer in my life. It was really hard decision but in the end I was determine to choose the second option and get through in my life. But in the end I was wondering what do you think how long could it be?
The Day After the Elections
What has happened to the rich? Their wealth no longer protects them, as society has become something based on physical strength and savagery instead of who has the most money. As for the U.S. Army they have become fighters to unify America. With the fight for unification America has ignored its enemies from outside. For the nations of the world unite to conquer and divide America. Many factions are inexperienced as soldiers and are not ready to fight such a large force. The only way to stop the conquering army is to unite.
Factions unite with the army and form the Alliance of Freedom as war erupts across the North American continent. After many battles where the world runs red on the soil of America the Alliance realize the situation is hopeless. There is only one thing left to do. They go to where nuclear bombs are stored. And fire them at every nation. Before the nations are destroyed they in turn launch their own nuclear weapons. What once were the United States and the whole world are wiped out and the earth is a radioactive wasteland. As thousand upon thousands of years pass the earth returns too normal. It is as if humanity had never been.

The president of 2008
McCain, sitting in front of his television cannot bear what just happened. He’s thinking:” Being a president was the last dream of my entire life. Unfortunately, this opportunity has been taken away from me. Oh, how did such powerful and beautiful country got to the hand of a liar, a cheater? How did that happen? I hate him. I am not going to give up; it is either me or no one. I need to find ways, and accusations to bring him down from his pedestal. After all I am an old man, the only thing I had to lose I just lost it, my pride, my throne.”
In the other hand, not all whites are happy. Some of them are afraid of a “Pay back time”. Others feel that they are losing power. They do not understand why a black person is in power. Forgetting about the interest of their country, they will prefer having McCain as president.
hey i messed up
REMEMBER REMEMBER THE FIFTH OF NOVEMBER
For the first time in a while I walked out of my house feeling like everything was going to be ok. It wasn’t a gorgeous day out, I mean it still was November, but the air was crisp and I was given a dose of inspiration and comfort this morning thanks to a special early news report. “Barrack Obama has won the 2008 presidential election, making him the youngest man to ever hold office, as well as being the first African American to become president in United States history.” It was like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders, a weight that had been there for nearly 8 years. It’s difficult to explain but this man becoming the leader of an entire people put me at ease as I walked out of my apartment. When president bush gained office I was ten and knew really nothing about politics either domestic or foreign. From what my parents told me democrat was good and republican bad, and that’s all I knew.
As I got older I began to understand more about the government and drew my own conclusions from the way all Politician’s acted. My conclusion was that they all suck its just your responsibility to choose the ones who suck less. Both Obama and Mc Cain had negative traits, and as I was considering my vote I had to think about what would not only put my mind at ease but the nations concerns as well. We needed something completely different from the bush administration. Senator Obama provided change and growth for the country and that was something I wanted to be apart of. Now standing outside my house I felt a sense of accomplishment at having contributed to a process that took thousands of years and millions of lives to become freedom and a right for everyone in the United States.
The aftermath of this election has been kind of surprising. Many people rejoicing and thankful to who ever that he has been elected. While at the same time all of his critics are shutting up because from the numbers he seems to have unified the country with his nearly 75 percent popular vote. Apparently my feelings of pride and relief are pretty common among the people in my neighbor hood. I keep hearing things like “it’s a miracle” and “I’m anxious to see how things turn out” as I walk down the street. Over all though it isn’t a surprise to me that he won. He had the stronger ticket seeing how Mc Cain was coming from the unpopular party as well as not really being able to relate to younger voters who seemed to be in force at this years election.
You know I couldn’t really hate bush for everything he’s had a hand in put this country through. Because their were many positive results to his 8 year reign. People realized that in order to prevent such bad things from happening they needed to become involved in there government. They responded and provided this country with change. All there is left to do is wait and see if the changes made will help or hurt this country. I got back from school and the talk there was mostly the same as it was on the street only with more force and energy. As I walked into the apartment I saw my father and my next-door neighbor standing at the television with their mouths open. I started “hey guys what’s up?” and my father struggling mutters there was an assassination attempt on Barrack. A chill ran up my spine at that moment. I moved to look at the television in shock. Apparently he was fine, but a member of the secret service was seriously inured by a gunshot wound to the abdomen.
I was disgusted. At the Individual, at like-minded people who were out there saying the assailant was trying to save this country. Most of all I was sick of the human race. I don’t know what would happen if the assassin had been successful, and honestly I don’t want to think about it. Are we that hateful that we attack a leader because of the color of his skin, or his name? I know that we can’t all be put under the same umbrella, but it’s at times like this, times of blindness, ignorance, and unadulterated hatred that I think to myself do we even deserve to be saved? If this is what we have to offer the world, should we even try?
The pessimistic scenario.
What could happen during that month is difficult to imaging. At some point, the country stood on the edge of the revolution. Especially, when officials proclaimed that their first announcement was wrong, and the winning candidate is the one from the Republican Party. Thousands of Obama supporters went on the streets to protest against, what they called the unfair elections. The streets of Washington DC were filled with people ready to, “fight for their rights”. At some cities these protests were turned into turmoil. People protested for several days trying to make government hear their voices. Nothing happened. The government insisted on the announced results of elections even though, they were clearly doubtful. The protests were growing day after day and went to the point, when the country was almost divided into two enemy groups – those who were marching against and those who were marching in support. The confrontation seemed endless. The results of that confrontation were devastating for country’s economy. Finally, it all was over. Besides the fact that the new president had to increase his security during his visits to different States, to ensure his safety from the grudge and mistrust among the good half of his own citizens, the four years of his administration were granted.
It has been several month after the Election Day. The country’s economy continues to go down. The war in Iraq and Afghanistan became the second issue, because everyone is talking about the war with Iran. China and Russia became allies in the new Cold War, after these countries were labeled “the evil empires and supporters of terrorists” by our beloved president. At this point, the last excitement of McCain supporters who celebrated his election went somehow down.
New era of hope and prosparity
There are disappointments among McCain supporters. They would be upset but would be ready to accept the fact of building the country and its economy towards prosperity which will follow through for the entire world. Finally at 7 pm John McCain congratulates Obama and promises to work with him, at the same time, he shows his gratitude to his supporters and request them to have one goal, which is, taking the country forward.
Its 8pm in the evening Obama comes out with speeches of hope. He once again repeating the same agenda, “In one week, you can choose policies that invest in our middle-class, create new jobs, and grow this economy from the bottom-up so that everyone has a chance to succeed.” He calls the nation to be united, reminding the people that we are one nation and we can put the country in track.
US economy means a lot to the world. The entire world economy follows the path that we show every other nation. After a difficult economic situation, that will be the day when US economy will begin to rise with new sun shine. Small business owner and middle class family begin to dream again. Small business owners are thinking to invest again and go with their guts to build a new horizon of development.
My brothers would not have to worry about lay-off from their job. Every body got new rhythm for work. Everyone will work to change the nation from their small area. Everyone is hopeful that the new journey has started. We will never have to look back but there won’t be any jobless and middle class would have never again live from pay check to pay check.
God bless America.

McCain supporters all across the country wake up late, still aglow from the celebration the night before. It wasn't even close, McCain won by a landslide. Republicans and conservatives are rehearsing their "I told you so" speeches while going about their morning routine, "what did I tell you?" Toothpaste foaming out of their mouths pointing at the mirror with their toothbrushes, "I said it months ago!" Practicing a proud smile. They are excited about facing their Obama supporting co-workers, ready to debate and win!
Palin wakes up early going over the plan in her head while she puts on her makeup and fastens her hair atop her head. The new first lady, Cindy McCain, will be gone by the time she gets to the new President, one tablet in his coffee and the ensuing heart attack will leave her free to reign over the country. She allows herself a quick maniacal laugh, slides her glasses on and straightens her jacket. They called her inexperienced, they called her naive, she will show them! All this country really needs is a Hockey Mom!
Around noon the press released the news to a baffled America, even McCain supporters are terrified. Palin, the new president, is ready to serve the country, with a few changes to the presidential campaign: First, fridays will now be Hockey Jersey day. Second, nuclear will be pronounced nooc-ya-ler. Third, there will be government funding for a new organization, that Palin heads, called "Peagent to President." And last but not least, Alaska will be moved closer to the mainland so people won't think she is out of touch.
United States New President
Its November 5 2008, Obama has won the election. Obama is the first black president of the United State. The world has stopped. Everyone expects big changes for the United States. The United States has reborn again. A big Celebration is occurring finally a democrat has taken the place of a president.
Its 9am I am on the R train going to work. All I hear is people saying "Yes Obama won". But at the same time I see different expression in everyone’s face. The Republicans have an expression of anger, depression. A Republican just took his newspaper and said “How can a Black person be our new president, United State is going down you all going to see it” “ A white Democrat said “be quite you ignorant Republic you are the reason why Mc Cain was not elected. Republic thinks they know everything and they always think they are right. Black people are very smart. Everyone deserves a chance no matter what color your are” The Republican man is furious because he was called an ignorant. I know something is going to happen. Oh my God!! Everyone in the train is screaming fight fight fight!! The two men are punching each other. More people are fighting. The R train looks like a zoo full of monkeys. I can’t help it anymore I press the emergency button. The train stops. The train operate just came I scream the police is coming everyone must stay in the train and face the consequences of your actions. People continue screaming. Oh God I am going to be late to work because of the big argument about Obama winning the elections. People really need to learn how to accept things. It now 9:30 am the police are here arresting people and letting go of the innocent ones. I am still in shock I never though that people was going to have such a dramatic response to the result of the election. It’s now 10 am my boss is upset at me for being late to work. I am not really a politics person. I was not aware of what each candidate was offering. All I know now is that Obama won, let hope makes good changes.
A year has passed the United States economy has improved. More jobs are available. The War in Iraq has ended. Soldiers are back with their families. The soldiers have thanked Obama for removing the troops from Iraq. People couldn’t be happier. After all Obama has proven to everyone that he won for a good reason. The United States couldn’t be better. Obama is now working on the immigrant issue. Let’s hope he solves the problem with the immigrants. Finally the United States is back on track thanks to President Obama.

Mr. Mustache, Bring Me a Dream
November 5th will be forever known as, “National Hangover Day”, because after a shocking turn of events Libertarian candidate Bob Barr from Atlanta, Georgia has become our Commander in Chief. When Senator McCain referred to the catalyst of this shocking victory, on October 15th as, “One of the greatest frauds in voter history” (while speaking of ACORNS usage of cartoon characters on their voting ballots) we all just laughed at Grandpa McCain's wacky theory, but we now see that Senator McCain's claim holds water.
Many voters claimed to have voted for Barr due to the lack of worthy candidates, and when they saw Bob Barr’s name they thought of the loveable children’s cartoon “Babar”, and not the former Georgia Congressman.

Many conservatives are unhappy with the GOP’s choice in John McCain due to a lack of charisma and his inconsistency, while many Democrats were let down by their party’s choice in Obama due to his inexperience.
Well, now what? Is America in trouble? I think not. This is possibly the greatest thing to hit this country since Mickey Mouse. Do you know why? Of course you don’t! It’s because R.C. Cola has finally triumphed over Coca Cola and Pepsi! And I for one am already growing in my “Barrstache”, and am buying a pair of wide framed glasses as we speak.
Bob Bless America!
